Dissertation theme:
Monitoring of changes in the crystalline content of synthetic fibers due to ambient conditions
This dissertation deals with the thermal and mechanical properties of synthetic fibers and their changes, which occur due to environmental conditions (time, temperature, etc.). Fibers such as PES, PVA and others are used for measurements. The first part of this work deals with the thermal properties of the materials on DSC and DMA devices. In the next part, mechanical properties (bursting tests) are investigated. The last part contains the use of optical methods, namely birefringence and polarization microscopy.
