CXI Laboratory
The laboratory focuses on the development of nanofiber production technologies, particularly the exploration of relationships between dependent and independent variables in the electrospinning process and the development of alternative methods for producing nanofiber materials or individual nanofibers. For these purposes, the lab houses a unique device—the Nanospider NS 1W500U pilot line, along with a climate control unit, additional accessories, and equipment that will be developed as part of the laboratory’s activities.

Laboratory Equipment
Nanospider NS 1W500U	This laboratory device for the preparation of nanofibers is commercially supplied by the Liberec company Elmarco and has a working width of 500 mm. This device allows the use of several types of spinning electrodes depending on the polymers and solvent systems used. The apparatus is connected to an air conditioning unit that can regulate both the temperature and humidity of the input medium. Additionally, the device is equipped with an air extraction system.
