Nonwoven Textile Theory Laboratory
This laboratory provides essential instruments for determining various properties of textile materials, primarily focusing on nonwoven and nanofiber textiles. Here, you can find an optical microscope, a macro optical microscope, droplet testers, microscopic and software methods for determining fiber properties, contact angle measurement devices, a profile projector, a wetting device, a mixer, digital scales, and a Krüss device for assessing the sorption properties of materials.

Laboratory Equipment
Tensiometers Krüss Tensiometer K12
This device is used for measuring the surface tension of liquids and the contact angles of wetting for a wide range of materials in defined liquids.
PocketDyne Tensiometer Krüss
A portable bubble tensiometer for measuring the surface tension of liquids.
Optical Microscopes with Melting Point Apparatus A classic optical microscope with device for melting point detection of polymer fibers.
The Nikon Eclipse 80i is equipped with a Linkam LTS 350 and software for monitoring material behavior under thermal stress, along with NIS Elements software for morphological analysis of materials.
Macroscope  The Bel Photonics macroscope is used for quick observation of small objects without the need for prior sample preparation.
Profile Projector  This instrument is used for analyzing the arrangement of fibers in textile materials.
Contact Angle Measurement  The AdveX Instruments device, equipped with a camera, Euromex lighting, and specialized software, is used for measuring the contact angle and surface tension of materials.
Thickness Gauges  In addition to a traditional thickness gauge, the laboratory also has a digital non-destructive thickness gauge, Elcometer 456.
Software  NIS Elements, GraphPad, OBS Studio
Other  Digital balances (both pre-weighing and analytical), dispensing equipment, and calipers.
