Physical Laboratory
The laboratory focuses on determining the physicochemical properties of polymer solutions and processing polymers as raw materials. It also conducts experiments on electrostatic and centrifugal spinning. For these purposes, the laboratory is equipped with fume hoods, digital scales (precision and analytical), magnetic stirrers, thermostats, viscometers, a pH meter, a vacuum evaporator, a drying oven, cooling devices, a distilled water production unit, a sterilizer, cryo-mills, a plastometer, an ultrasonic probe, a sieve fractionator, high-voltage power sources, and apparatuses for needle, rod, and centrifugal spinning. This laboratory is primarily used for practical experiments conducted by students working on their bachelor's and master's theses.

Laboratory Equipment
Rotary viscometers  Haake ROTOVISCO
A simple rotary viscometer with several different sensors for various viscous solutions.
Bohlin viscometer
A rotary viscometer capable of measuring not only solutions but also the viscosity of melts.
Cryomills Cryomill R
Capable of grinding small amounts of materials using metal balls in containers at both normal and very low temperatures with liquid nitrogen.
ZM 200 Retsch
An ultra-centrifugal high-speed rotor mill designed for grinding soft to medium-hard and fibrous materials at normal temperatures or with the use of dry ice.
Ultrasonic probe  Misonix A device used to disperse solutions where particle agglomeration occurs or that do not mix well with standard methods. 
plastometer Dynisco A device used to measure the melt flow rate in terms of mass and volumetric indices. 
Analytical sieve shaker AS 200 Retsch A device used for dry sieving using analytical sieves for precise separation of fine and coarse products. 
Sterilizer Anprolene AN 74i  A device designed for the sterilization of materials for tissue engineering, using gaseous ethylene oxide as a sterilizing agent. 
AQUAL 25  A device for the production of distilled water. 
Lyophilizer A  device used for dehydrating samples at very low temperatures and pressures.
Rotary evaporator  Used for solvent removal from samples at higher temperatures and low pressures.
Equipment for experimental electrospinning Electrospinning from rods and needles
Equipment with a high-voltage source for the production of nanofibers through electrospinning.
Centrifugal spinning
In addition to several smaller devices, the laboratory contains the NANOCENTRINO L1.0 for jet centrifugal spinning.
Wimshurst machine
A demonstration device for the production of nanofibers.
 Other Fume hoods, magnetic stirrers with heating, digital balances (both pre-weighing and analytical), dryers, cooling and freezing devices, thermostats, pH meters, high-voltage sources, shaft stirrers, pipettes, and other laboratory accessories.
