  • Functional dyes - focus on the development of photochromic, thermochromic and chemochromic sensors, non-traditional adaptive design of textile products, development of special measuring technology.
  • Camouflage theory and camouflage textiles with performance in the UV-VIS-NIR-SWIR and FIR spectral regions.
  • Materials engineering - SMART materials, luminescent materials and their applications in various industries.
  • Microscopy - use of spectral methods in microscopic measurements, laser line confocal microscopy.
  • Textile finishing - finishing, printing and coating with effect pigments, development of new tests for colour fastness of textile materials.
  • Light engineering - the effect of spectral compositions and light intensity on materials, including chrome materials.

  • 1982-1986 studies at the Faculty of Textile at the Technical University in Liberec (VŠST), ending with the state final examination in the field of Textile and Clothing Technology, diploma thesis defence - Ing.
