Project "The Future of Textiles Begins with Education (EkoTEX)"

We have joined the “EkoTEX” project (project no. 100799814)

As part of the Interreg Saxony–Czech Republic 2021–2027 program, which is co-financed by the European Union. This program strengthens cross-border cooperation in the areas of innovation, education, and sustainable regional development.
The Technical University of Dresden (TUD), as a project partner, looks forward to collaborating with the Technical University of Liberec (TUL) and the Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI) to jointly advance sustainable textile production and education.

At the heart of the project is the belief that education is the key to a more sustainable textile industry. Plans include joint workshops and laboratory events, bilingual online courses, a cross-border educational platform, and a bilingual professional publication. By combining the expertise of both countries, we are fostering knowledge exchange, promoting innovation, and preparing future professionals for the challenges posed by a sustainable textile industry.
