Specialisation

- Development of novel fibrous structures for extreme conditions, Electrospinning and electrospraying of Nanofibrous and microporous layer.

- Incorporation of organic and inorganic materials (Aerogel, PCM, etc.)  in the fibrous structures to create multilayer systems.

- Sustainable way to develop fibrous structures from natural source and wastes for various applications (enhanced thermal insulation, geopolymer coir composites, carbon filters, etc.)

- Development and comparison of conventional and unconventional thermal measurement techniques to evaluate the fibrous materials (sub-zero temperature in a climatic chamber, i-button sensors, custom built convection heat transfer, etc.) .

- Modelling and Simulation of Heat Transfer through insulation materials.
